Trophy Games Acquires Idle Necromancer and ZR from Goathamster

Trophy Games Development A/S has acquired the mobile games Idle Necromancer and ZR from Goathamster for DKK 1m. The games are currently generating low revenue but Trophy Games sees potential for more and is confident they are able to turn them into solid revenue-makers within half a year.

Idle Necromancer and ZR are both idle clicker games that allow players to progress through levels by tapping the screen. Despite having a loyal fanbase, the games have struggled to generate significant revenue.

"We see a lot of potential in these games. With some adjustments to the game mechanics, new features, and a targeted marketing campaign, we believe we can increase player engagement and monetization."

Trophy Games Development A/S is a well-established game development company that has released several successful mobile games in the past. With the acquisition of Idle Necromancer and ZR, the company hopes to expand its reach and establish itself as a leader in the idle clicker game market.

The acquisition does not change the 2023 guidance from Trophy Games Development A/S which continues to be DKK 56-65m in revenue, DKK 8-14m in EBITDA and DKK 3-8m in EBT.
