The Land and Environment Court announces date of decision on Cinis Fertilizer’s environmental permit application
The Land and Environment Court has today announced that the decision in the case regarding Cinis Fertilizer’s environmental permit application for the production facility in Örnsköldsvik will be published on May 5, 2023.
Cinis Fertilizer has applied for an environmental permit for the company’s planned production facility for mineral fertilizer in Köpmanholmen, south of Örnsköldsvik. Today, the Land and Environment Court in Umeå (Sw. Mark- och miljödomstolen) concluded its main hearing, which partly took place on site in Köpmanholmen on March 28–29.
During the negotiations, no new claims have been received that the company needs to respond to or take a position on. This means that the company’s application is complete and today it was announced that the court’s decision will be announced on May 5, 2023, at 2 p.m. CEST.
