Talkpool is realizing its holding in Dutch Camouflage
Swiss based Talkpool AG and Dutch Cejege B.V. have signed a share purchase agreement in which Cejege has agreed to buy the remaining shares amounting to 61.82 % of Talkpool’s profitable Telecom Services subsidiary in Holland. Camouflage, which is specialized in camouflaging and maintaining mobile antenna sites, made a revenue of EUR 3 730 thousand in 2021. Transaction closing is set for 11 November 2022 and will create a significant gain for Talkpool AG. The transaction has a value of about EUR 1 300 thousand, which makes Talkpool’s return on investment, including sales and operational profits since the acquisition in October 2016, exceed 320%. The cash transfer to Talkpool AG after offsets amounts to about EUR 1 100. Talkpool AG will use the proceeds partially to repay loans but with more focus to provide working capital for its fast-growing activities. The new owner Cejege has a long history and a vast contact network in the Dutch telecom managed services industry, which will provide Camouflage with favorable conditions for continued growth.
Despite an expected slowdown of the global economy, Talkpool AG is faced with very sizable orders from the US and Germany which see a huge pent-up demand in 5G and Glass Fiber services. Talkpool’s CEO Erik Strömstedt is quoted saying: “This transaction complies with the company’s medium-term strategy to concentrate on growth areas which offer an attractive bottom line. Talkpool will also in the future consider transactions which help to improve the performance of its different business segments.” After Talkpool’s net profit in Q2 2022, Management and Board of Directors remain optimistic about the further development of the business and the financial performance. This will include the release of new ESG solutions such as “Air-4-Schools”.
