SSH Communications Security to integrate Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ to provide a comprehensive Operational Technology security solution

SSH Communications Security (SSH) has signed a reseller agreement with Honeywell aimed at enhancing the security of Operational Technology (OT) environments. Under the agreement, SSH will offer the Honeywell Forge Cybersecurity+ platform alongside its IT/OT Privileged Access solution (PrivX OT) to provide SSH customers with a more comprehensive and customizable cyber security solution for OT/ICS networks.

The combined solution, which will include Honeywell Cyber Insights and Honeywell Cyber Watch, will encompass secure remote access to OT/ICS environments at scale and continuous passive monitoring to deliver visibility, asset management, traffic analysis and real-time threat detection.

Benefits of the combined solution include:

1) Easy-to-use, secure remote access and maintenance locally or globally
The Honeywell Forge platform combined with PrivX OT makes it possible to have full visibility of all assets in an OT environment, with real time threat detection with an aim of enabling engineers to securely troubleshoot problems or carry out maintenance without a team on site. This helps to reduce downtime and the risk of lost production time.

2) Access IT/OT as one
Support for various IT as well as OT protocols allows for the combination of IT/OT data. IT and OT asset discovery, enablement of real-time threat detection, process and product data analysis and increased operational efficiency aims at reducing the risk of data compromise.

3) Comply with regulations
The solution helps the user to stay compliant with strict regulations applicable to remote access, automation, control system applications, and network and information systems, such as: ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIS/NIS 2.0, and NIST.
