Skanska one of world’s best employers once again, says Forbes
Skanska has been ranked by business magazine Forbes as one of the world’s best employers for the third year running. The exclusive “World’s Best Employers” list is based on surveys with more than 300,000 employees working for multinational companies and institutions in over 50 countries.
The ranking confirms that Skanska provides a dynamic workplace where people can learn, develop and make a difference, says Anders Danielsson, President and CEO at Skanska Group.
“It reflects the work we have been doing to attract and retain the best people and teams in the industry,” says Anders Danielsson. “From talking with colleagues around the Skanska world, I have seen that what we do has a direct impact on the well-being of our teammates and on our business performance.”
Those interviewed were asked whether they would recommend their company to family or friends, and to rate their employer based on criteria such as work-life balance, career advancement opportunities and employee diversity.
The ranking is also recognition of Skanska’s culture and values, says Therese Tegner, Executive Vice President for Human Resources at Skanska Group. “It also reflects the work done on developing our Employee Value Proposition, as part of our culture of continuous improvement,” she says.
The results are confirmed by Skanska’s annual employee survey.
“The pride that our people have in working here shines through in our survey, with 85 percent saying they are proud to work here. Our people, working in exceptional teams that deliver outstanding performance, are a business advantage for us at Skanska and for our customers,” says Therese Tegner.
The survey was conducted by market research company Statista. The methodology and focus of the review are described here: The World's Best Employers 2024 (forbes.com)
Earlier this year, Skanska was included in the LinkedIn Top Companies 2024 top 25 list, as one of the best workplaces in Sweden for career growth.
