Company Announcement no. 05-24
Copenhagen, February 27, 2024
The announcement contains inside information.
Shape Robotics is revising its guidance for both 2023 and 2024. The adjustment includes a significantly improved EBITDA result for 2023 and an increase in expectations for 2024.
Anticipated for 2023 are additional positive EBIT results and break-even in Profit Before Tax.
For 2023, Shape Robotics expects an EBITDA result of DKK 15 million (previously announced DKK 8 million), and for 2024, a minimum revenue of DKK 300 million and EBITDA of at least DKK 25 million.
The full-year report for 2023 will be released on February 29, 2024, with the annual report expected to be issued in early April 2024.
These changes primarily stem from technical accounting adjustments due to the transition from the Danish Financial Statements Act to IFRS.
Guidance for 2023:
- Revenue: DKK 170 million (unchanged)
- EBITDA: DKK 15 million (from DKK 8 million)
Guidance for 2024:
- Revenue: Minimum DKK 300 million (from DKK 300-325 million)
- EBITDA: Minimum DKK 25 million (from DKK 14-18 million)
The projections for 2024 will be refined to a more specific range following the release of the half-year report, anticipated in August 2024. Hence, at this point, they are indicative of the minimum expectations for 2024.
