Shape Robotics introduces new product – the mobile STEAM lab
Shape Robotics is thrilled to introduce its latest educational offering: a mobile STEAM lab tailored to elevate the classroom experience. This innovative solution empowers educators to bring cutting-edge technologies and interactive learning directly to their students, fostering inclusivity and equal access to top-tier resources.
Designed to accommodate diverse curriculum requirements, the mobile STEAM lab facilitates adaptable learning experiences, whether on-site or remotely. It encompasses a comprehensive suite of advanced tools including virtual reality, robotics, and a rich array of lesson content, perfectly complementing the included hardware such as laptops and interactive displays.
“This achievement is the result of a collaborative effort involving industry leaders Samsung, Lenovo, Avantis, and Graphtec. The mobile lab stands as a testament from strategic partnerships, and our commitment to exceptional in-house product development based on market demands.” André Fehrn, CEO
The primary driving force behind the creation of the mobile STEAM lab is to address the needs of educational institutions that lack the space to dedicate an entire room for a lab setting. Despite this spatial limitation, there exists a significant demand for facilitating STEAM learning experiences. This mobile lab is designed to cater to this demand on a smaller scale compared to our conventional STEAM labs, thereby reducing the barriers to entry for prospective customers.
This strategic approach allows Shape Robotics to offer a solution that aligns with the requirements of schools and institutions that may not have the resources for fully-fledged lab setups. This is particularly valuable for our distributors who can now provide a product that meets the needs of tenders or direct acquisitions, even when funding is not available for comprehensive lab installations.
The product will be ready for sale during Q4 2023, and Shape Robotics expects sales of mobile STEAM labs in the range of DKK 10-15m in 2024.
