Safello enters into framework agreement with the Swedish Economic Crime Authority
Stockholm, April 30, 2024 | Safello, the leading cryptocurrency exchange in the Nordics, has entered into a framework agreement with the Swedish Economic Crime Authority. The framework agreement between the parties was concluded following a public procurement process conducted by the Swedish Police Authority to meet the needs of the Police Authority, the Swedish Customs Service, and the Economic Crime Authority for cryptocurrency services, which Safello won in August 2023. The procurement was carried out in accordance with the Swedish Public Procurement Act (Lagen om offentlig upphandling, “LOU”).
Previously, the Police Authority and the Customs Service have both entered into and extended their framework agreements with Safello. The Economic Crime Authority has now signed a framework agreement with the company too.
The framework agreement, which will meet the Economic Crime Authority’s needs for cryptocurrency exchange services on a national basis with a maximum contract duration of four years, will take effect immediately.
