Realfiction Holding AB is pleased to present its first version of its Directional Pixel Technology (DPT) key component - a specialized 15.5-inch spatial light modulator.
The spatial light modulator, integral to Realfiction's DPT, is designed using mass-manufacturable components, ensuring versatility across various display sizes. It is compatible with LCD, LED/MicroLED, and OLED displays, facilitating the creation of multi-view and multi-user glasses-free 3D experiences without the resolution loss associated with previous technologies.
“This is an exciting moment for Realfiction and our stakeholders,” says Richard Ouyang, CTO of Realfiction. “We have successfully developed the key component that makes large-scale, high-quality multi-view and glasses-free 3D displays viable, and we are now ready to move toward commercial integration in multiple display applications.”
As part of our latest collaboration, plans are underway to integrate this spatial light modulator into center stack dual-view LCD displays, tailored for leading automotive manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers. This integration aims to enhance in-car display systems by providing distinct views for drivers and passengers, thereby improving both safety and user experience.
Additionally, Realfiction is collaborating with a leading MicroLED technology partner to integrate 3D capabilities into MicroLED technology.
