PolarCool expands in French rugby – USA Perpignan sign an agreement

The Med-Tech company PolarCool AB (publ.) has signed a two-year agreement with the Top 14 club USA Perpignan. The agreement means that 7 out of 14 clubs in France's top rugby league now utilize PolarCap® for the treatment of players suffering from concussions.

USA Perpignan joins the growing number of French rugby clubs providing the PolarCap® System, reflecting an increasing prioritization of concussion management and player safety within the rugby world. In the leading French rugby league, Aviron Bayonnais, Stade Français, Racing 92, Lyon Olympique, ASM Clermont, and US Oyonnax are providing concussion treatment with PolarCap®. The agreement highlights the potential of the French rugby market, which includes a total of 30 professional teams across the Top 14 and Pro D2, as well as over 1,800 amateur teams.
