It has come to the attention of Katalysen Ventures AB (publ) ("Katalysen"), that Payer Financial Services AB ("Payer") has filed for bankruptcy over the past weekend. Further updates will follow once Katalysen has further evaluated the situation.

Payer, a company within Katalysen’s portfolio that has faced financial challenges and significant internal conflicts between its top management and owners over the last two years has decided to file for bankruptcy over the past weekend.

Katalysen initially invested in Payer due to its focus on B2B payments and innovative solutions built upon its robust modular technical platform.

Katalysen will now evaluate whether most assets of Payer could be interesting to acquire within Katalysen's new Venture Targeter Framework. This framework offers the opportunity for an operational team to participate alongside Katalysen, experts, and investors.
