New R&D Leadership
Dr. Kristleifur Kristjánsson, Executive Vice President of Research and Development, has decided to retire from 1 July 2022 after a decade with Össur. Hildur Einarsdóttir has been appointed Executive Vice President of Research and Development and will become a member of the Össur Executive Committee. Mrs. Einarsdóttir has been with Össur in various roles since 2009. She is an Electrical Engineer from the University of Iceland and holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering with focus on Computational Neuroscience from Imperial College London.
