Nationalmuseum chooses QBank – upgrades to a future-proof and scalable DAM solution
Nationalmuseum, Sweden’s museum of art and design, carried out an extensive RFP (Request For Proposal) during 2024 to find a new DAM (Digital Asset Management) solution. QBNK Company AB (QBank) was chosen as their new provider. With this strategic investment, Nationalmuseum replaces their previous provider with QBank to optimize handling of digital assets, streamline workflows and strengthen its digital infrastructure.
Strategic investment for the future
Nationalmuseum manages large volumes of digital assets, requiring a scalable and integrated DAM platform to support its growing digital ecosystem. After a thorough evaluation of different options, QBank was selected for its flexibility, high performance, and future-proof capabilities, aligning perfectly with Nationalmuseum’s needs.
“We were looking for a DAM solution and a partner capable of managing our growing digital catalog and supporting our digital development. After carefully evaluating different options, it became apparent that QBank was the right choice for us. We are looking forward to starting the journey together and benefit from the platform’s possibilities to optimize our work and create long term value,” says Eva-Lena Bergström, Director of Research at Nationalmuseum.
Prestigious win for QBank
Nationalmuseum's selection of QBank confirms the Company’s position as a leading provider of DAM solutions.
“We are incredibly proud to have won this RFP and that Nationalmuseum chose QBank for their DAM Journey. This deal highlights our strength in digital asset management and our ability to deliver a scalable, flexible, and future-proof solution for clients with high demands. We are looking forward to supporting Nationalmuseum as they implement and grow with our platform,” says Anna Gomes, CEO at QBank.
As part of the implementation, QBank will provide a robust DAM solution and serve as a central part of Nationalmuseum’s digital infrastructure. The platform will integrate with IIIF and Museum+, optimizing workflows and ensuring seamless digital asset management across the organization.
