LED iBond appoints new CEO

LED iBond International A/S (LED iBond) today appointed Martin Løbel as new Chief Executive Officer, CEO.

Martin Løbel has more than ten years of top management experience as both CTO, CCO and CEO at a number of technology companies. He most recently comes from the position as CEO at Cibicom, an independent network operator and Internet Service Provider. His career also includes several management positions at Waoo, ComX Networks and Intel.

Michael Brag, Chairman of the Board of LED iBond, says:

– I am pleased to welcome Martin Løbel as the new CEO of LED iBond. The company is in a very important phase of realizing the commercial potential of our technology and products. Martin is an experienced executive and has already forcefully demonstrated his capabilities for driving commercial growth in scale-up companies on international markets. Martin encompasses a unique combination of a proven commercial track record combined with a solid technical foundation with a Master of Science in Electrical and Optical Engineering and subsequently a Ph.D. in applied physics. I am convinced that Martin will become a strong CEO for LED iBond, and I am looking forward to working with him.

Martin Løbel will start in his new position on 2 May 2022. He replaces the company’s current CEO, Pia Stangerup, who resigned to take up a senior management position with a company outside the industry, as per company announcement no. 46.
