Knowit Experience establishes a new collaboration with Telenor Group

Telenor Group has chosen Knowit Experience as the exclusive partner for brand strategy and identity for the next three years.

Telenor is a strong, global brand operating in eight markets with nearly 160 million subscribers. After intense competition with several players, it is now clear that Knowit Experience has been selected to help define the brand's direction globally.

"Telenor is highly visible in many markets and means a lot to many people. We will primarily have a global focus. It is crucial to set the direction for what should be common across all markets and define where there should be room for local adaptations", says Miriam Lillevand, customer manager, and brand advisor at Knowit.

The procurement process has been extensive, and Knowit takes over from the London-based design agency Design Bridge/Superunion. The agreement has a duration of three years, with an option for an additional two years.

The core team that will support Telenor Group includes brand strategist Nina O'Gorman and lead designer Marc Ligeti, who has won more than 80 design awards in several countries.

"It will be exciting to work for an ambitious and international client in an industry undergoing significant changes. We look forward to getting started", says O'Gorman.

Director of Brand Identity at Telenor Group, Marte Celine Jacobsen, states that all agencies involved in the process have solid expertise, and the competition for the assignment has been tough.

"Knowit demonstrated an understanding of our complexity and identified areas for improvement that we ourselves have been eager to address. Moreover, they showcased a design approach and methodology that suited our preferences. With strong and broad expertise, and especially good chemistry, we look forward to a rewarding collaboration", says Jacobsen.
