Katalysen Ventures increases its ownership in InvitePeople and ConexBird

Katalysen Ventures AB (publ) (“Katalysen”) is pleased to announce its increased participation in Matchmeeting AB (“InvitePeople”) and ConexBird Oy (“ConexBird”). As a result, Katalysen becomes a 15% equity shareholder in InvitePeople, with an option to acquire an additional 4% of outstanding shares, and a 13% equity shareholder in ConexBird.

Following a share issue exclusive for existing shareholders at favourable terms, and the acquisition of options on existing equity, Katalysen has increased its ownership in InvitePeople to 15% through direct equity and an additional 4% through options. Katalysen notes that these options are currently in-the-money.

InvitePeople is a Sweden/Germany-based leader in hybrid event software for enterprises. Following a successful entry into the German-speaking market, InvitePeople can count several banks, and enterprise giants such as IKEA & Deutsche Bahn amongst its 100+ clients. Katalysen values that InvitePeople is particularly well positioned ahead of an expected wave of consolidation in the event software sector. InvitePeople is currently actively preparing itself for the opportunities that may arise from such market events.

Similarly, Katalysen has expanded its ownership in Finland-based ConexBird through a convertible issue exclusively available to existing shareholders at very favourable terms. If converted Katalysen’s ownership in ConexBird is bolstered from 5.5% to 13%. ConexBird, currently engaged in severall discussions with major corporations in the machine equipment and shipping sectors, anticipates leveraging the capital infusion to finalize these promising discussions with a positive result.
