K-Prefab has signed an agreement for a complete framework contract for yet another phase in Västerbro in Lund

K-Prefab AB, a subsidiary of K-Fast Holding AB (“K-Fastigheter”), has signed an agreement with MTA Bygg och Anläggning AB (”MTA”) regarding a full service concrete frame for the construction of new apartments, commercial premises and underground parking garage in Kv Virket 3 in Lund. MTA´s end customer is Huseriet/Rikshem.
K-Prefab is to carry out a complete contract (ABT-U) with K-Prefabs concrete frame system in full. In total, the Kv. Virket 3 project comprises 45,000 square meters rental apartments, 1,100 square meters commercial premises and an underground parking garage. K-Prefab enters the project already at the project planning document stage, which is relatively unusual and demonstrates trust between the parties and facilitates the company's planning. Kv. Virket 3 is K-Prefabs, to date, largest single project.

The Virket 3 block is part of the transformation of the former industrial area of Västerbro, located 1.5 kilometers northwest of Lund city center, into a residential area and a vibrant sustainable district in the city. In the area there is ongoing construction of Kv. Virket 6 where K-Prefab also supplies and assembles frame solutions. Construction of Kv Virket 3 is planned to start in 2026.
