Insplorion enters commercial partnership with leading gas and fire safety company
The company will start the sales of Insplorion’s hydrogen leak detection sensor to verify its unique properties together with customers in the marine industry. An order of 600 000 SEK will initiate the commercial partnership with the ambition to supply products long-term for hydrogen applications in the marine industry.
The joint collaboration of investigating the market opportunities for hydrogen leak detection sensors in the marine industry has led to a commercial partnership. The partner has initially placed an order of 600 000 SEK to cover delivery and installation of prototypes in various customer applications.
“This is a first step towards a full commercial agreement between the parties to evaluate how well Insplorion’s sensors performs in real life applications. We have worked with this partner the past months, meeting potential customers, and the interest in our sensor has been great”, says Johan Rask, CEO at Insplorion.
The ambition with the partnership is to develop and sell hydrogen sensors for the marine segment as hydrogen is being deployed as a sustainable option to lower the industry’s CO2 emissions. The partner, a major player in gas and fire safety solutions for the maritime market, is an obvious choice for supplying hydrogen sensors to the marine market. In parallel to this we continue our dialogues with other similar partners to accelerate commercialization of our sensor products.
