Inside information, profit warning: Revenue over last year, higher costs burden result

The decline in consumer confidence and purchasing power have impacted customer’s purchasing behaviour. Tokmanni has kept its low-price level, while the company’s costs have increased. As a result, Tokmanni weakens its 2022 guidance regarding profitability and specifies the guidance for its revenue.
New guidance for 2022
In 2022, Tokmanni expects the revenue to be EUR 1,150–1,180 million. Comparable EBIT measured in euros is expected to be EUR 80–90 million in 2022.
Previous guidance for 2022 issued by Tokmanni on 26 April 2022
In 2022, Tokmanni expects the revenue to be at the previous year’s level. Comparable EBIT measured in euros is expected to be EUR 90–110 million in 2022. The forecast includes elements of uncertainty, which depend on the development of inflation, interest rates, the war in Ukraine, the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of these.
In 2021, Tokmanni's revenue was EUR 1,141.8 million and comparable EBIT was EUR 105.7 million.
Tokmanni will publish its Financial Statement Bulletin 2022 on Friday 10 February 2023.
