Humana streamlines its geographical presence – divests operations in Denmark
Humana is strengthening its focus on Sweden, Norway and Finland by entering into an agreement to divest its Danish operations to NPF-Specialisterna Öppenvård i Norden AB
The divested operations include individual and family care, primarily in the Copenhagen region and Jutland. StøtteCompagniet ApS, Humana's operating company in Denmark, employs approximately 27 full-time employees and serves approximately 90 customers. In 2023, full-year revenues of approximately SEK 24 million were reported. NPF-Specialisterna Öppenvård i Norden AB acquires the shares for a symbolic sum in the transaction. The divestment will result in a capital loss of approximately SEK 8 million and is expected to be completed during the third quarter.
This strategic change means that Humana can focus its resources and energy on its core markets in Sweden, Norway and Finland, where the company sees the greatest growth potential.
"StøtteCompagniet is a fantastic operation, and we are pleased that it is being taken over by an experienced and competent owner who shares our vision and values. Through the divestment, our offering in the Nordic market will be clearer and our organisation more efficient," says Johanna Rastad, President and CEO of Humana AB
