Freetrailer Group A/S signs framework agreement with SGDS Gruppen in Sweden

Freetrailer Group A/S has just entered into a new strategic partnership with SGDS Gruppen in Sweden. With the framework agreement, Freetrailer becomes the preferred partner for several of SGDS Gruppen’s brands.

 

The sharing economy company Freetrailer Group A/S today announces that they have just signed a framework agreement with SGDS Gruppen in Sweden. Making Freetrailer the preferred partner for full-service branded trailer solutions for SGDS Gruppen.

 

Optimera, one of Sweden's leading chains of professional builders' merchants, will be the first to utilize the new framework agreement for their stores, marking the start of the implementation of the agreement.

 

"We have a clear ambition to increase awareness of our brand and our many stores across Sweden. In this process, the many trailers with our branding on them will be an important factor. At the same time, we are raising the service level for our professional customers, who will now find it easier to transport their purchases," says Daniel Bik, CEO of Optimera.

 

Johan Wijkander, Country Manager for Freetrailer in Sweden, sees the partnership as a strategically important step for Freetrailer.

 

"The framework agreement with SGDS Gruppen supports our growth strategy in Sweden, especially in the B2B segment, where we see great potential. With access to SGDS Gruppen’s network, we can now reach out more broadly to professionals such as carpenters, masons, and plumbers across the country. This partnership strengthens our position as a preferred partner in trailer hire and opens doors to expand our service to cover the whole of Sweden. B2B segment in growth

According to Nicolai Frisch, Group CEO of Freetrailer, the company has noticed an increasing interest from the B2B segment in recent years.

 

"The value of our full-service concept is rapidly spreading to the B2B segment. Many companies with professional customers have spotted a great potential in adding an extra layer to their marketing and increasing awareness of their business through the many trailers on the road with their branding," says Nicolai Frisch.
