Everysport publishes the results of the completed strategic review within Every Padel

Everysport Group AB (publ) (“Everysport”) hereby publishes the results of the strategic review, linked to the Group's inventory of padel facilities within the business area Every Padel, which was carried out during the second half of 2022. The strategic review has resulted in an optimized inventory of facilities within Every Padel. The remaining five facilities are all strategically favorably positioned in the market. Implemented efforts have produced a positive net effect of a total of approximately SEK 10 million during the fourth quarter of 2022 and are estimated to provide a total profit improvement of approximately SEK 13 million during 2023 in comparison with the full year of 2022.

The optimization of facilities within Every Padel means a change from a total of 9 to 5 facilities, in addition, Everysport has renegotiated with property owners and agreed on both rent and rent debt settlements. From the second half of 2023, the portfolio will consist of Every Padel; Kista, Kopparlunden, Hälla, Fyrislund and Åby Arena, all of which are strategically well positioned. As previously communicated, Everysport has also vacated the facility in Stigamo by canceling the agreement on the acquisition of shares, which was announced through a press release on September 30, 2022.

Overall, the strategic review has resulted in a positive net effect of a total of approximately SEK 10 million during the fourth quarter of 2022, as well as an estimated total profit improvement of approximately SEK 13 million during 2023 in comparison with the full year of 2022.

The strategic review within Every Padel was initiated to meet the changed market situation and to enable the Group to continue to focus on growing the Group's core business within sports media. The work continue through, among other things, optimization of the remaining facilities and lease agreements in order to ensure profitable growth of the Every Padel business area.
