ESGFIRE comment:
Ekobot today (30/1) announced a new collaboration agreement with Väderstad AB with the aim to “evaluate the performance of a seed drill using vision technology and artificial intelligence (AI).” The news is exciting for several reasons, firstly because it shows that Ekobot's expertise in the industry regarding vision and AI technology is at the forefront and secondly because it may open up possibilities to enhance existing solutions for agriculture with the main purpose of optimizing field operations.
The collaboration partner Väderstad AB has chosen to initiate this partnership since they are especially interested in using Ekobot’s AI and vision to evaluate the performance of a seed drill .
The project is expected to be finalized in September 2024.
ESGFIRE is delighted by this news as it opens up for potentially new revenue streams for Ekobot.
