Eltel’s Nomination Committee proposes Per Sjöstrand as new Chairman of the Board of Directors

The Nomination Committee of Eltel AB (“Eltel”) has today resolved to propose that Per Sjöstrand be elected as new member and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Eltel at the Annual General Meeting 2024. The current Chairman of the Board of Directors Ulf Mattsson will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the period until the Annual General Meeting 2024 and has informed that he is not available for re-election as Board member after the Annual General Meeting. Eltel’s Annual General Meeting 2024 is planned to be held on 14 May 2024. The Nomination Committee’s other proposals ahead of the Annual General Meeting will be communicated at a later point of time.

Per Sjöstrand has long relevant experience from senior positions within different types of service businesses. He is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Instalco, Håndverksgruppen, Green Landscaping and Uniwater and member of the Board of Directors of NCG. Previous positions include being founder, CEO and Group President of Instalco and being Head of Large Projects at the Swedish Transport Administration.

Eltel’s Nomination Committee consists of members appointed by the four largest shareholders of Eltel as of 31 August 2023, which together represented 48.2% of the votes in the company.
