Corem divests 19 properties in Jönköping, Huddinge and Linköping for SEK 768 million
In two separate deals, Corem has signed agreements for the sale of 19 properties at an underlying property value of SEK 768 million, which is in line with book value.
In Huddinge, the property Ellipsen 5 is sold and in Linköping the leaseholds to the properties Magneten 2 and Megafonen 4 are sold. The properties mainly contain areas for light industry and warehouses with a total lettable area of approximately 9,050 sq.m.
In Jönköping and Huskvarna, 16 properties are sold, with a total lettable area of approximately 60,000 sq.m., which mainly contains premises for warehouses with elements of offices. With this sale, Corem is leaving Jönköping.
"The sales free up capital for new business opportunities and continued reduced debt. Corem is doing a geographic streamlining and at the same time the buyer in Jönköping gets a very nice and integrated portfolio for further development," said Peeter Kinnunen, Head of transactions at Corem.
Transfer of possession for Ellipsen 5 is planned for 29 April, transfer of the other properties is planned for 15 May 2024.
Walthon Advokater has been Corem's legal adviser in both deals.
