Contract signed with Copenhagen Municipality on extended and expanded access to Ayla

Copenhagen, Denmark, 3 April 2025 – Brain+ A/S (Nasdaq First North: BRAINP)
Brain+ A/S (“Brain+ or “the Company”) and Copenhagen Municipality have agreed to extend their evaluation contract on Ayla – your CST Assistant (“Ayla”) to cover the remaining nine months of the 2025 municipality budget year. At the same time, the contract is expanded from three (3) to up to nine (9) elderly daycare centers getting access to Ayla to scale the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST). At a discounted one-off evaluation price of DKK 100,000 for the extension, still, the new contract represents the largest sales contract closed by Brain+ to date. The agreement with Copenhagen on expanded access to Ayla is a positive step ahead of the municipality’s final evaluation of Ayla by the end of 2025 and the potential for a multi-year, multi-site contract with Denmark’s largest and most CST-experienced municipality.
Background
Brain+ announced on 11th December 2023, its first signed contract with Copenhagen Municipality for a 12-month evaluation of Ayla to scale the delivery of Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) to people with dementia in three (3) of the municipalities +20 elderly daycare centers. Copenhagen Municipality is the largest Danish municipality, one of the most experienced in terms of CST delivery, and one of the most innovative in the use of health technology. The initial evaluation period ended on 31 March 2025, and based on positive feedback from the users, Copenhagen requested an offer to get extended access from 1 April to end 2025 to evaluate Ayla further in up to six (6) additional daycare centers.
Extended Ayla evaluation contract
The following terms have been agreed with Copenhagen Municipality for the extended contract:
- Access to evaluate Ayla – your CST Assistant for an additional nine (9) months from 1 April 2025 to the end of the current 2025 budget year.
- Expanded access to Ayla – your CST Assistant to support the delivery of CST in up to nine (9) elderly daycare centers from the initial three (3) sites under the first contract.
- An evaluation contract price of 100.000 DKK + VAT for the nine-month period, corresponding to a discounted annualized price of DKK 133,333 for up to nine sites.
- The extension and expansion of the evaluation contract will serve to further evaluate Ayla – your CST Assistant as the platform for scaling of high-quality CST services across Copenhagen Municipality.
Next step and outlook
Over the coming months, the Brain+ team will work closely with Copenhagen Municipality to ensure a good onboarding and implementation of Ayla at the new daycare centers to be enrolled in the evaluation. A key priority for Brain+ is to ensure the best possible alignment of the Company’s offerings with the needs in the dementia care system.
The new contract is considered a positive signal of validation ahead of an end of 2025 evaluation within Copenhagen Municipality of using Ayla at a potentially much larger scale, involving implementation of Brain+’ dementia care solution for scalable CST services across all relevant sites in the municipality.
Devika Wood, Chief Commercial Officer in Brain+, commented on the extended contract: “Copenhagen Municipality is the largest and most advanced supplier of CST in Denmark and thus a very important reference customer – also abroad. Our collaboration with their dedicated team provides valuable insights on how to best implement Ayla to scale high-quality delivery of the therapy to more people with dementia. The extended and expanded evaluation contract now signed to cover up to 9 elderly daycare units in the municipality is a great win, representing the largest sale to date and validating the relevance of our offering. “
