ContextVision announces appointment of Gerald Pötzsch as new CEO
ContextVision, the world’s leading Image enhancement provider is pleased to announce the appointment of Gerald Pötzsch as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1st of August 2022.
Gerald has solid academic and professional background, holding doctor’s degrees both in Engineering and Medicine and 16 years with Philips Medical imaging business. “This will be a good addition to the existing team at ContextVision and a good support for our successful development of ContextVision”, says Olof Sandén Chairman of ContextVision.
Gerald has had an international leadership career within Philips in multiple roles such as having worked in commercially leading roles in German speaking countries as well as in the Nordic countries. More recently he established global solution business areas that stretch across the existing Philips Business Units to integrate end-user requirements more clearly. His roles have taken Gerald across the world, having had roles in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the US, where he has built a strong network of industry colleagues and clinicians.

Gerald is of German nationality and has lived in Sweden between 2010 - 2015 and has recently returned from the US to live in Stockholm with his family.
