Cinis Fertilizer receives the environmental permit for its first production plant
The Swedish Land and Environment Court in Umeå today announced that an environmental permit has been granted to Cinis Fertilizer AB regarding the production of mineral fertilizer in Köpmanholmen, Örnsköldsvik municipality.
“It is very gratifying that we have now received a permit for our operations, and we look forward to claiming the permit. We are thus following our schedule, which means that we will start production of fossil free fertilizer already beginning of next year,” says Jakob Liedberg, CEO Cinis Fertilizer.
During the first quarter of 2023, Cinis Fertilizer has completed the groundwork for its first production plant, in Köpmanholmen. Deliveries of process equipment will begin during the summer.
