CDON announces CFO transition
Thomas Pehrsson, Chief Financial Officer ("CFO") and deputy CEO at CDON AB ("CDON") has today at his own request decided to resign from his current position. CDON has appointed Carl Andersson, who currently holds the role as Chief Commercial Officer ("CCO"), as the new CFO. The said CFO transition will become effective when the handover of the resigning CFO's responsibilities to his successor would be completed, but no later than on 1 March 2024.
Thomas Pehrsson will continue working in his present role (until 1 March 2024 at the latest) to ensure an orderly transition to Carl Andersson. After assuming the CFO position, Carl is going to retain the responsibility for CDON's commercial operations (which Carl currently has in his capacity as the CCO).
Carl Andersson joined CDON as Head of Integration in connection with the completion of CDON's combination with Fyndiq in April 2023. In June 2023 Carl was appointed as CDON's CCO and member of the management team. Prior to joining CDON, he had been working as a management consultant, specializing in strategy, organizational change and transactions at global consulting firms Kearney, Alvarez & Marsal and Applied Value Group. Carl has a Master of Science degree in Management from Bayes Business School, City University of London, UK and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Corporate Finance from Lund University School of Economics and Management, Sweden.
"Since Carl joined the company in April, he has proven to be very ambitious and highly engaged in the financial aspects of the company. In his recent role as CCO he has been highly involved in our transformation towards profitability. I believe that he will be a great contributor to the path that lies before us", commented Fredrik Norberg, CEO of CDON.
"I'm honored to take on this new role and continue to contribute to CDON's growth journey", commented Carl Andersson.
"On behalf of the management team and the Board of Directors, I would like to express our gratitude to Thomas Pehrsson for his significant contributions and achievements during his tenure at CDON. Thomas has been instrumental for the transformation CDON has undergone since last autumn," commented CDON's CEO Fredrik Norberg.
"During my time at CDON, I have very much enjoyed working with the great team as well as the Board of Directors and I am convinced that CDON will have a prosperous future", commented Thomas Pehrsson.
