Capsol Technologies establishes Advisory Board to support international expansion
Capsol Technologies ASA, a provider of carbon capture technology to large emitters, today announces an international Advisory Board as part of the company’s global scale-up.
The Advisory Board brings together seasoned experts from industry, technology development, commercialization, academia, and government policy.
With the recent addition of Chris Barkey, former CTO of the leading energy technology company Baker Hughes, the Advisory Board is now complete.

The Advisory Board consists of the following members:
- Chris Barkey (the UK), former CTO of Industrial Energy Technology for Baker Hughes, former Group Director, Engineering & Technology for Rolls-Royce plc, and former CEO of the Henry Royce Institute, the UK national institute for advanced material science, in addition to a number of board roles; currently Non-Executive Chairman for ELE Advanced Technologies Ltd and Non-Executive Director for MDS Aero Support Corporation.
- Morgan Bazilian (US), Director of the Payne Institute for Public Policy and was previously Lead Energy Specialist at the World Bank, a senior diplomat at the United Nations and the EU’s lead negotiator on technology at the UN climate negotiations.
- Ian Dunderdale (US), brings expertise in strategy implementation, corporate and
asset evaluation, valuation, and transaction execution, including Baker Hughes and Element Resources. Co-founder of two private equity-backed companies. - Jing Jin (Sweden), Vice President of Clean Technologies at Munters. Highly experienced in green transition of the industrial sector as well as in emission abatement. In charge of Munter’s carbon capture initiative.
- Jan Kielland (Norway), former CEO of Capsol Technologies. More than 40 years’ experience working with and holding management and board positions in companies within the energy sector.
- Stéphanie Saunier (Norway), Managing Director of Carbon Limits, a consulting company focusing on climate change mitigation from energy sector operations. Board member of Carmeuse, a global provider of lime, limestone and mineral-based products.
