Bioservo signs a distributor agreement with Hidrex for the sales of Carbonhand[®] in Germany
Bioservo strengthens the sales channel in Germany, the largest market in Europe, and complements the network with another distributor. Through Hidrex GmbH's sales network, Carbonhand® can help people with impaired hand function all over Germany.
Hidrex GmbH was founded back in 1974 and has worked with rehabilitative aids since 1976. Today they have over 40 employees and a turnover of around seven million Euros through the sale of aids and disability equipment to around 200 hospitals, clinics, and rehab centers through around forty local dealers around Germany. They have solid experience with the German reimbursement system and have a department that focuses exclusively on rehabilitative aids and assistive robots.
"We are very happy to be able to link Hidrex to our distributor network and thus gain a wider geographical coverage on the German market. They will also be a good complement to our existing distributor in Germany in that they largely addresses other target groups.” says Petter Bäckgren, CEO of Bioservo, and continues: "Hidrex's long experience and competence within the German reimbursement system will be an important success factor in being able to get our recently launched Carbonhand to all those living with impaired hand function in Germany today."
