Bio-Works is now recertified according to ISO 9001:2015
During 2021, Bio-Works has worked to continuously update its quality management system in accordance with the international standard ISO 9001: 2015. In March, it was confirmed that Bio-Works has met the high standards and the company is now again approved and re-certified.
"We are very happy and proud that the re-certification of ISO 9001: 2015 has now been approved and the certificate has been updated. A strong, cross-functional team effort by Bio-Works employees made it possible for us to deliver a first-class audit," says Jonatan Svedmyr, Director of Quality Assurance, at Bio-Works.
The ISO 9001: 2015 quality system was fully introduced in the organization in January 2019. In February, Bio-Works was audited by Intertek, an external certification organization, and re-approved, which means that the management system meets the requirements of the standard. The standard is harmonized with EU regulations and an approved certificate demonstrates the company's ability to provide products that consistently meet customer requirements and applicable legal requirements.
“The business has a management system that is well adapted to the business, which is also developed in step with the organization's growth ambitions. Most indicators also show good outcomes such as customer satisfaction and delivery precision…Good focus on ensuring product quality" Excerpt from the audit summary from Intertek.
The ISO certification covers product development, production, marketing and sales. By designing a quality management system with a strong customer focus where all processes and routines are carefully designed and quality tested according to international standards, Bio-Works ensures that it continues to deliver products and services in accordance with the requirements of the market. The certification is the result of systematic work that must be ongoing and prioritized in order to be able to offer products with high customer value.
