Africa Energy Announces Annual Meeting Voting Results
VANCOUVER, BC, June 10, 2021 /CNW/ - Africa Energy Corp. (TSX Venture: AFE) (Nasdaq First North Growth Market: AEC) (“Africa Energy” or the “Company”) held its annual general and special meeting of shareholders in Vancouver, British Columbia today. After the meeting, William Lundin was appointed as Chairman of the Board, replacing Adam Lundin who stepped down in order to comply with industry corporate governance guidelines regarding the maximum number of non-executive director appointments per individual.

Shareholders reappointed PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as auditor of the Company for the upcoming year and authorized the directors of the Company to fix the remuneration of the auditor.

The Company’s incentive stock option plan was approved by shareholders with 99.95% of shares represented at the meeting voting in favour.
