Addtech acquires AMP Power Protection Ltd

Addtech Electrification, a business area in the Addtech Group, has today signed an agreement to acquire 100 % of the shares outstanding in AMP Power Protection Ltd (”AMP”).

AMP develops, supplies and supports rugged Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) and Power Protection systems for harsh environments to the defence, marine and transport industries. AMP has 20 employees and an annual turnover of approximately GBP 5 million with headquarters in Newport Pagnell, UK.

AMP complements and strengthens Addtech's existing operations in the area of power solutions and batteries and will be part of the Battery Systems business unit.

Closing will take place today. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Addtech's earnings per share during the current financial year.
