Arise: Acquires 51% of Finnish project developer Pohjan Voima - Redeye

Redeye is positively surprised by Arise’s strategic partnership and acquisition of 51% of the Finnish project developer Pohjan Voima. The company seems to be founded and led by pioneers within the Finnish onshore wind industry and looks like a perfect fit for Arise. Pohjan Voima holds a current project portfolio of 1.7 GW which gives Arise a solid platform for expansion in Finland while offering great profit potential over the coming years - acquired at an attractive price. In this research note, we share our thoughts and shed additional light on the partnership/acquisition. We also briefly comment on Arise’s board of director’s dividend proposal last week, which currently corresponds to a 2.4% dividend yield.
