Penneo achieves ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certification affirming its strong commitment to security and privacy

Successfully achieving the ISO 27001 and 27701 certifications demonstrates Penneo’s  prioritization of security and privacy for both itself and its customers.

Penneo announced today it has achieved the ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certifications for its information security and privacy management system.

ISO 27001 is the international standard for information security management systems, while ISO 27701 is an add-on to ISO 27001 for privacy information management systems. Both certifications make it mandatory for organizations to implement a comprehensive set of policies, procedures, and controls to manage and protect sensitive information, including personal data.

Prior to receiving the certifications, Penneo has undergone an assessment process including a thorough audit of its information security and privacy management practices. This certification process has been conducted by an independent third-party certification body, which has verified that all systems and processes meet the stringent requirements of both standards.
