DecideAct renews contract with the University of Akureyri

DecideAct has just renewed its contract with a customer in the Icelandic market, the University of Akureyri (UNAK). The collaboration is now entering a new phase, building on the results already achieved.

DecideAct has been working with UNAK for the past year. Since the first agreement in June 2022, the software company has, among other things, helped shape a new strategy for the university and mature the organization for the next phase, which includes finalizing and implementing the strategy using DecideAct's digital platform for strategy execution. The new contract aims to make the platform integral to the university's future strategy management.

UNAK, located in northern Iceland, was founded in 1987 and has grown rapidly and steadily since then. In 2022, the university had just over 2,500 students. As of the spring semester of 2019, UNAK became a full-fledged university with programs at all levels of university studies when it was granted permission to offer Ph.D. studies.
