22 MSEK repeat order from US High Temperature customer

An existing customer in the US has placed their highest order ever - a very significant repeat order of over 22 MSEK, corresponding to a well over doubled run-rate compared to last year - a testament to the value of persistence and the high quality that Nexam can deliver.

The US based company, a long-time regular Nexam customer, has placed a repeat order valued at 22,5 MSEK, as part of an internal focus of their supplier base. The order covers five quarters, with deliveries commencing Q4 2023, and corresponds to a more than doubled run-rate compared to existing orders for the corresponding period to date.

As mentioned in our recent Strategy presentation, the High Temperature segment – the very origin of Nexam Chemical – is an area where we can really see that our persistence over the years and near obsessive focus on quality is starting to pay off. Given the size of this order, I’m also pleased with the investments we have made in production capacity over the past year, which means that we can handle significantly higher volumes without approaching the limits of our technical capacity.” says Ronnie Törnqvist, CEO of Nexam Chemical

Our solutions within High Temperature, used in highly demanding environments such as civil and military aviation with extensive material stress, very high service temperatures and extreme material requirements, can deliver unique customer value. Our original customers in this space are increasingly gaining traction with their high temperature composite materials, often as replacement for metals such as titanium or Inconel. This order is testament to the value we deliver, and to the strong collaboration we have with many of our High Temperature customers.”, says Henrik Bernquist, Business Manager at Nexam Chemical.
