Gapwaves receives an order for production equipment for radar antennas
Gapwaves has received an order from Frencken Group regarding production equipment for assembly and production of waveguide antennas in high-volume.
The assembly equipment, Gapstacker, from Gapwaves is going to be used for high-volume production of radar antennas. The order has a total value of ca. 4,8 MSEK and will be delivered during the fourth quarter 2022.
Gapwaves and Frencken Group has since the beginning of 2021 a cooperation agreement for production of waveguide antennas. Frencken Group is an established producer in the Automotive industry and fulfills all required standards and certificates. Together with Frencken, Gapwaves is capable to produce antennas in high-volume at competitive prices.

“Earlier this year, Frencken ordered Gapwaves test equipment, Gaptester. Together with this new order, Frencken now has a complete production line including high performance assembly and test equipment. Together with Frencken, we are executing in line with our plan towards establishing high volume production for our customers within the Automotive industry.”
