Q1 EBIT of SEK 5m, below ABGSC and consensus at SEK 26m

Catella reported an EBIT of SEK 5m (7m) in Q1’24, which was below ABGSC and FactSet consensus, which forecasted SEK 26m. The main deviation compared to ABGSC forecast was the Corporate Finance segment, which was negatively impacted by the fact that transaction volumes in the quarter remained at very low levels. The earnings contribution within both Investment management and Principal investments came in line with our expectations.
