YIT to execute residential building for TA-Asumisoikeus Oy in Espoo

YIT has concluded an agreement with TA-Asumisoikeus Oy on the construction of a block of flats, Asumisoikeus Oy Espoon Viilivati 2, in Kera in Espoo. The deal also covers the sale of the plot. The housing company will include 54 right-of-occupancy flats, and its gross floor area will be about 3,900 square metres. The total value of the contract is approximately EUR 13 million, and it will be entered in the order backlog for the first quarter of the year.

In the design of the housing complex’s courtyard, special attention was paid to biodiversity by including a diverse range of plants and rainwater channel drains in the plan. Native species were favoured in the choice of plants. Around half of the facilities of a logistics centre used to operate in Kera area have been demolished and the remaining buildings are in temporary use by Keran Hallit. In total, housing and commercial premises covering a gross floor area of 300,000 square metres have been planned for the area. Asumisoikeus Oy Espoon Viilivati 2 is YIT’s first project in the area.
