The French Rescue Service SDIS 37 Indre et Loire, orders a RescueRunner System.
We are pleased to announce that another French rescue service, SDIS 37 Indre et Loire, in Tours, is ordering a RescueRunner System.
Through our French distributor Fire Technologies Eurl, SDIS 37, a rescue service in the city of Tours, now also chooses to order a RescueRunner system. SDIS 37 will mainly use its new RescueRunner to strengthen its water rescue capacity in case of flooding in the area and the river Loire, which flows through Tours.
The RescueRunner system is a very flexible and efficient boat system that can operate in shallow and inaccessible waters, and decisive for the rescue service's choice of boat system was the RescueRunner's durability, the ease of maneuvering the boat, the water jet that enables driving in shallow water and the unique ability to clear the water jet from the aft deck.
The RescueRunner system, which was originally developed by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society precisely with the aim of being able to carry out rescue operations in shallow and inaccessible areas, where other boats cannot reach.
The RescueRunner system is now well proven by other rescue services and we see more departments integrating the system into their vital operations.
"We are very pleased, that more and more rescue services globally are discovering the broad usability and capabilities of the RescueRunner system. In France in particular, we also see an increased interest in our other various boat systems, and we look forward to the continued developments in this market. We would like to forward our sincere thank you, to the emergency services, for their trust in our products, and wish them the best of luck", says: Kaj Lehtovaara, acting CEO Safe at Sea AB.
The RescueRunner system will be delivered in Q4 2023.
Order value is approximately SEK 460,000
