Laziza to open new restaurant in Wihlborgs’ Vista office building in Hyllie
The popular Lebanese restaurant Laziza will open its third restaurant in Malmö at Vista (Bläckhornet 1) in Hyllie.
The new restaurant, which will open at the end of 2025, will be located on two floors and cover a total area of 600 m², and feature the same concept as the two current restaurants on Baltzarsgatan in central Malmö and Hallenborgs gata in the Dockan neighbourhood.
Vista’s roof will have space for Laziza to grow their own spices and herbs to use in food preparation.
In addition to its popular food, Laziza’s profile highlights social sustainability and breaking the cycle of exclusion. 50 percent of all employees are women and 90 percent of them have not previously held a job in Sweden.
“Vista’s high sustainability ambitions are entirely aligned with our own offering, with a great deal of vegetarian and locally sourced food. Our concept has worked very well for the past thirteen years and we’re now ready to take the next step with a restaurant in Hyllie, where we already provide a lot of catering. We are keen to build bridges in our work, between people as well as between countries. It’s therefore an important symbol for us to be so close to the Öresund Bridge and the continent, and also more neighbourhoods in Malmö,” says Sadoo Iskandarani, founder and chef at Laziza.
“The queues to Laziza’s existing restaurants are out the door, so we are genuinely excited to bring the concept to Vista and Hyllie. It will be a welcome addition to the offering and the atmosphere in the entire area. About Vista
Vista will be Wihlborgs’ fourth office building in Hyllie and will be complete by the end of 2025. The building will be triple certified in line with SGBC Gold, WELL and NollCO2. The mobility hub on the lower floors, with approximately 450 parking spaces, charging stations, car and bike pool solutions as well as bike parking with a changing room and showers, will be completed by the end of 2024.
The ground floor will have a staffed reception, co-working, shared meeting rooms and a restaurant.
As Wihlborgs previously announced, Mercedes-Benz is also a tenant in the building.
