International business leader Martin Vogl proposed for election to Greater Than’s Board of Directors
Greater Than (GREAT.ST), the global provider of driver crash probability and climate impact intelligence, is announcing that 64% of shareholders in Greater Than propose Martin Vogl to be elected as a board member at the May general assembly 2023.
Vogl is Founder, CEO and Chairman of the innovative insurance group YOUPLUS, where he is entrusted with the expansion and transformation of a runoff life insurance company into one of European's fastest growing insurance platforms. YOUPLUS is currently active in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Czech & Slovak Republic, Norway and Ireland.
He also serves as CEO of Swiss InsurEvolution Partners Holding (SIEP). With the establishment of the financial service platform SIEP he has enabled investment of Hannover Re and Mutschler Holding (Zurich) in various business models. These investments include start-ups, restructurings, international expansion models, technology enablers, insurance carriers and asset managers.
Vogl has more than 20 years’ experience in CEO positions in international insurance environments covering B2C, B2B, B2B2C business models, as well as in management consulting. Prior to joining YOUPLUS and SIEP, he served as CEO of AXA CZ/SK for five years and executed a fundamental business restructuring, resulting in €15M profit in 2015 and AXA winning multiple awards for new innovative products and high client satisfaction.
Greater Than’s ownership group presents the proposal for election and believes that Vogl’s inspirational leadership skills and expertise in international growth will deliver significant benefits to Greater Than, whose focus for 2023 is to accelerate growth through its existing portfolio.
